Prices for Walking holidays

Per person:350 €

A single supplement of 120 € (refundable if the chateau is not fully booked.) only applies in July and August- sorry. Otherwise at all other times of the year if you are coming singly you will find a warm and friendly base with us with a house and garden big enough to escape from people if you want to be on your own, but we are always around (if you want a chat and cup of tea next to the Aga in the kitchen, or in the vegetable garden!)

We have special discounts for groups of 4 to 10 people out of season – please contact us to discuss

Included: 5 nights accommodation, 5 breakfasts, 4 packed lunches & one excellent auberge lunch as part of one of the walking routes, mid afternoon coffee and cakes (if you are back in time!) 4 dinners at the chateau (see our table d’hote page for delicious examples, wine/beer with dinner.

We include local maps and pamphlets giving points of interest along the well-marked trails. We provide full English speaking back up.We are also very happy to advise and help arrange other activities and excursions.

Not included: transport to and from the chateau on arrival and departure days- cheap flights to Lyon with Easyjet

Special requirements: We are happy to accommodate special dietary needs if you let us know in advance.

Transport: prices for pick-up from airport/stations please call although we are happy to pick up for free from Retournac station (direct trains from St Etienne)
